Personal training female clients that have recently given birth is an incredibly rewarding experience, but it requires a unique set of considerations.
When it comes to screening, programming and training postnatal clients, it isn’t sufficient for them to simply complete standard pre-exercise questionnaires.
As a trainer, you need to unearth vital information in order to be able to adequately assess, and then effectively and safely program for your postnatal client.
This is why I created my short course The Key Questions You Need To Be Asking Your Post Natal Clients, and Why.
This short video-based course will help you understand the specific questions that need to be asked, why they need to and what it means for your programming!
A great introduction course to the Functional Fitness for Pregnancy and Post Partum Training.
THE COURSE INCLUDES:
Defining what the postpartum period is
Adequate screening and evaluation
The questions that need to be asked to postnatal women
Why these questions need to be asked
Ongoing screening and assessment for postnatal clients
How to adapt your screening process

“Brooke’s program has not only given me the tools to be a healthier and fitter version of myself, but has also supported my journeys through pregnancy and post partum return to exercise. I have always felt safe in Brooke’s training sessions and as a mum I LOVE that Brooke understands the impacts of pregnancy, breastfeeding, and general motherhood on my body and life.”
~ Flic - Return to Exercise Sessions
“One of the best things I’ve done! I always looked forward to going to each session and love seeing everyone each session. I love the group dynamics, support and connection! You feel part of something and working towards that is so positive! Brooke is so knowledgeable and her passion shines through in everything she does.”
~ Jess - STRIVE Squad
“Following the birth of my first baby I was eager to get back into my training. After reading this guide it opened my eyes to so much that I had no idea about - but what every woman should know when returning to exercise after pregnancy.
This guide helped me return to my training safely, whilst still providing fun, challenging workouts I wish I had of found these sooner!”
~ Lynsey - Post Natal eBook
“I love how knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating Brooke is when it comes to women's bodies, especially women's bodies before and after pregnancy. She makes us feel capable of moving safely, always offering options for injuries or ailments and ensuring we understand why those options are there. Brooke enables us to regain strength of body and confidence in the way we move so we can continue that in our everyday lives.”
~ Jen - Return to Exercise Sessions
“Brooke has great knowledge of anatomy and exercise physiology and applies this to her coaching. I always feel well supported and safe when training with Brooke. I love the energy, how different each session is, the options to scale, and how Brooke brings about the connection to mood, sleep, movement and nutrition and how these areas impact each other.”
~ Katie - STRIVE Squad
“Thank you Brooke for helping me to begin moving again after the birth of my third baby. I love how strong and capable I feel during your classes and always feel in safe hands knowing I'll not be pushed into any harmful movements. I feel so much more confident in my post natal body and amazed at what it can do.”
